Tailor-made in-house training by Customs Knowledge

Each year, Customs Knowledge provides a large number of tailor-made in-house training courses for various companies. These trainings are always customized and range from a full customs declarant program to a refresher course on classification or an AEO awareness training. Courses can be designed for operational staff who need to recognize the importance of customs compliance, as well as for managers who want to gain insight into processes and risks.

In close consultation with you, we determine which knowledge is missing and which topics should be covered. This way, a focused training program is created, ensuring that all participants acquire exactly the knowledge they need. Would you like to be certain that your company has sufficient expertise in-house? Then feel free to schedule a call with one of our trainers to discuss the possibilities.

In addition to our full and innovative training programs, the most common topics for which we provide tailor-made training include:

  • Classification (tariff classification in the Combined Nomenclature)

  • Customs valuation

  • Origin & preferential origin

  • Excise duties

  • Export of strategic goods (export controls)

  • VAT & fiscal representation

  • Risks and opportunities for customs brokers

  • Risks and opportunities for shippers

  • Suspension regimes and in-depth study of relevant suspensions

  • VGEM measures (safety, health, economy, environment)

  • Specific customs conditions, rules, and risks relevant to your company

  • Drafting an effective notice of objection
