Vergunningen & douaneplanning

Paying the correct amount of import duties, not too much, not too little. And not paying at all if it’s not necessary. Optimal use of customs procedures – such as transit, inward processing or temporary storage in a customs warehouse – is essential to achieve this. However, this requires good administration and process management.

Even when (high) import taxes apply, this does not mean that you always need to pay these import duties. In fact, there are several ways to "plan" the payment of these duties. You can do this by applying for authorisations for special customs procedures. For example, the customs authorities offer an authorisation for temporary import. With this authorisation it becomes possible to temporarily import goods into the EU, for example to use or exhibit them here and then to export them again without or with partial payment of import duties.

In addition to customs authorisations, Customs authorities also offer excise authorisations and import/export authorisations. Our experts will be happy to inform you about these authorisations.
