Rob is an independent consultant at Customs Knowledge. He studied at the HES Rotterdam Logistics and Economics. He also studied tax law at Leiden University. He has almost 25 years of experience in various positions at Dutch Customs and knowledge and expertise in all customs areas.
He has been an audit leader and therefore he has a broad knowledge of how to carry out (administrative) checks by Customs. In his role as a teacher, he has provided many internal and external training courses. Rob also has a lot of knowledge of formal customs law, e-commerce and excise duty.
Rob is a born and raised in Rotterdam. He loves running, cooking and good food.
