Rianne Jorritsma-Bykanov joined Customs Knowledge as a legal advisor in March 2022 and became a shareholder of Customs Knowledge as of 1 January 2025.
She advises on a broad range of procedural customs matters, VAT on import, and key sustainability regulations such as the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). Rianne also represents clients in objection and appeal procedures against Customs.
Rianne holds a masters degree in tax law from the University of Groningen. Based in Heerenveen, Rianne enjoys spending time outdoors, staying active through sports, and exploring new destinations when traveling.
